Welcome to the USC Mirror of Open Source Software. This mirror is maintained by the USC Linux Users Group and was donated by the USC Information Technology Services (both hardware and bandwidth). We have approximately 2TB of disk space housing several Linux Distributions, the entire GNU FTP site, the Linux Documentation Project, OpenSSH, OpenSSL, and more!
USC has connections to I2, Los Netos, and more - so you should be able to pull excellent bandwidth (especially you I2 folks). People on the USC campus should be able to pull even faster!
You may be interested in our usage statistics. Also, you can use urpmi and yum with this server.
- This server offers FTP, HTTP, and RSYNC service. Feel free to use any one.
- All software is updated twice a day: 1-4am and 1-4pm.
- This mirror can be found at mirrors.usc.edu.
